Please follow these tutorials to configure email clients to work with WNYLC email accounts. These tutorials mention google apps and although we do not use google apps, the settings shown here are the ones we now use. Basically, the full email address including the domain must be specified, the outgoing server requires authentication (username and password must be used) the server must be set to mail.wnylc.com, and mail must be sent on port 587. Users setting up email clients will get a request to verify the certificate. Just accept the certificate.
