The staff and volunteers at VLP provide free civil legal services for low income people in many areas of need including:
- Housing (eviction defense, tax foreclosure defense)
- Family Law and Family Court Help Desk
- Unemployment Insurance Benefits
- Representation for HIV positive individuals
- Wills and Small Estates
- Federal Court Help Desk
- Say Yes to Education Legal Clinics
We also provide assistance to smaller not for profit organizations committed to serving low income people, people with disabilities, and the elderly.
Please be advised that VLP does not accept walk ins. If you would like to become a client, please call us and we will perform a telephone intake, including income eligibility screening.
Note that VLP does not provide any assistance in criminal matters.
