Federal Court Pro Se Assistance Program

The Federal Court Pro Se Assistance Programfed-ct

The Federal Court Pro Se Assistance Program allows those who are representing themselves in a Federal Court matter and are financially eligible to speak with a volunteer attorney about their case. The Pro Se Assistance Program allows clients to sit down with an attorney and receive advice; please note that it does not afford clients with representation.

Some of the services provided may include:

  • Clarifying legal issues
  • Advising whether to commence a lawsuit
  • How to respond to being sued
  • Explaining pro se forms to clients
  • Outlining  procedural requirements
